Idenix About
Idenix: Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Idenix) is a biopharmaceutical
company engaged in the discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of
human viral and other infectious diseases. Idenix’s goal is to deliver novel antiviral
therapeutics to market. Idenix is developing drug candidates that are specific
and selective to a virus type, which we believe may optimize the safety profile
and improve the antiviral activity of our drug candidates.
Valtorcitabine,
or val-LdC, is a second drug candidate for the treatment of HBV. Valopicitabine
(NM283) administered orally once a day, is intended to block HCV replication
