macular degeneration (AMD), the leading
cause of severe vision loss in people
over the age of 50 in North America and
Europe, as well as other ocular conditions.
In June 2004, the Company combined with
Atrix Laboratories Inc. In November 2004,
the Company acquired Atrix.
